Event Description:
The next doing business with the military presented by the GFC Military Affairs Council will be on the business opportunities in excess military property.
Plan to attend on Monday, 22 January, at 11:30am for lunch, and 12:00 noon for the presentation to learn more. If you have been to any of our past stellar and packed house presentations in this series, you know how good they are as you get valuable information plus the opportunity to ask questions of an expert. Opportunities with excess property from the Department of Defense will be discussed by Ms. Beth Ford, Area Manager, Defense Logistics Agency, Disposition Services, formerly known as the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office.
Excess military property is much more than what you see in surplus stores. You will find many things that businesses can use or resale such as vehicles, temporary facilities, office furniture, storage lockers, tools, information techology, and other items pertinent to operating an organization.
The Greater Fayetteville Chamber Military Affairs Council Members are close to both the Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune sites, giving you more opportunity and lower transport costs from those locations.
